[A woman comes on the video with a smile, and she's sitting in one of the lounges, looking relaxed. Well, mostly relaxed, every so often, her thumb brushes across the new mark on her palm. Following the lines of the snake eating it's own tail, she's done it so often now she can do it without looking. Her voice is normal though, despite the fidgeting.]

Hello. For those who didn't meet me yet, I'm Martha Jones, and I'm a doctor. If you've need of one, you can always come to me. [In case you don't want to see the people in the medical center is what Martha means.]

[He cants his head slightly, though a flicker of emotion - frustration and nostalgia - passes through his expression. He knows she's right, but he doesn't know how he knows that.

Lily, he assumes. Lily is a good answer for anything he can't quite recall.]

[A beat.]

Perhaps you ought to call me 'Severus' instead of 'Mr. Snape'.

[For a moment, Martha is quiet, because she didn't expect the invitation to call him Severus to come this soon, if at all. Really, she had been working to resign herself to simply calling him Snape or the like, rather than giving him an honorific.

But she offered a smile and a nod of her head.]

Allright. But only if you call me Martha.

Well, you do have the added benefit of not being on the staff of kidnappers, so...

[Considering the fact that she wants this to be reciprocal familiarity, he's a little unsure suddenly.]

I...may resort to calling you 'Doctor'.

Then Mr. Snape it is.

[There's that chin thing again, Snape, because she's stubborn as hell.]

No, don't worry about it. Sorry for bringing up something so heavy out of the blue.

I don't know if my specific problem is widespread enough among us borrowed to create a support group, but... a more general support group might be a good idea. Something to let us all get to know each other, air out our grievances. How being borrowed has impacted our lives.

This is true. I'm going with the term "borrowed" though, until we figure out what's really going on here.

[It's her job and all of that.]

[He recites a room number back to her, making no objection to the fact that she wants to stop by. It's sort of her job, isn't it?]

[And she gives him her room number as well.

[Cissie laughs.] Okay, you've got me there. I guess it's just hard to think about it as being borrowed when there's not really a guarantee we'll get put back where we were found, you know?

But... it sounds like you have important stuff to get home to. Good contact, or bad contact?

I think there almost always is.

I'm going to go looking for a guarantee, I mean, I'm quite certain I don't disappear from my timeline.

And it was a little bit of both, depending on the aliens.
