[Molly's been around for a little while, doing her best to try to get acclimated to the facility and mostly keeping to herself. She knows she needs to start classes soon, and she will. If she's supposed to be protecting someone, she has kind of a lot to learn. Illusions and ice magic will only go so far, and if she finds herself needing to fight, she's woefully unprepared.

But now she's starting to get curious about the other people in this facility, Sentinels and Fatemarked alike. And--well. The best way to meet people is to introduce herself.]

Hi. I'm Molly. I'm from Chicago in the early twenty-first century, I'm still unpaired, and I have to say it--I am bored out of my mind. What does everyone do for fun around here?

Where I'm from he's a god, and you probably don't want to mess with him, but if he's anywhere near Dagobah, I'm in. I want to meet Yoda.

Where I'm from he's an alien who people thought was a god. [And you probably still wouldn't want to mess with him... not that that has ever stopped Tony before or will ever stop him from doing anything.]

I haven't met him yet, but I'll ask him about Dagobah when I do. I hear there's a Norwegian restaurant he likes to eat at when he's in town.

I have to admit, I'm pretty curious as to how that goes, but I'm guessing you don't mean a Norwegian restaurant around here.

Nah, one in New York. My New York. If Thor shows up here, I'm definitely asking him for a ride home. Do you think they have Norwegian restaurants here? I don't know if they even have a Norway.

[Since they won't let them out of the Double-F, Tony has no idea how close the aboveground world is to his Earth.]

You know, with all of the weirdness, I didn't stop to consider that basic geography would be different. I feel like that's a serious shortcoming in pop sci-fi nerd.

That said, if they don't, that would suck, because Norway makes some pretty awesome food.

I don't care what they have up there, so long as we get to see it soon. I'm already sick of being stuck down here.

[Like, he's sick of being stuck here generally, but not even being allowed to leave the Double-F adds insult to injury.]

Heh. I bet. How long have you been here?

A couple weeks. What about you? How long did it take to reach "terminally bored"?

[snicker] A week or so. I'm used to things being a little more exciting.

Yeah, I'm used to running into two or three supervillains a week. This resort bunker doesn't even have regular rival organized crime gang shootouts to keep the morning commute interesting.

[That is not a funny joke, Tony, that's terrifying]

[Oops, Molly's laughing, though.]

Yeah, we're in the aftermath of a nasty magic war where I'm from.

With that for a norm, how do you survive in such a snoozefest?

Barely, [Tony says, with a dramatic eyeroll.] Mostly by learning their computer system's architecture and spending way too much time in the gym. [He's gonna be so buff. So bored, but so buff.]

A... magical war...? [He then asks, sounding hesitant and skeptical. He's not sure if she's messing with him or not. He's still wrapping his head around "magic" as a real thing in the first place.]

[goodgrasshopper]

That... sounds like you have plenty of time to catch up on your sleep.

[She shrugs, biting back a smirk. Yeah, she knows exactly how weird it sounds.]

Well, yeah. Since the wizards ended their war with the Red vampires by wiping them all out, there's been a bit of a power vacuum. Turns out wars don't always end when one side wins or loses. The effects ripple out. We're still dealing with the ripples.

Sleeping is boring too, [Tony complains, like the true caffeine addict he is.]

Wizards and... vampires. [Riiiight.]That sounds... [totally fake] exciting. I think I'm glad I'm not from your world. I get into enough fights already without getting involved in Wizard vs Vampire wars. And that totally sounds like a cheesy roleplaying game.

Sleeping is way boring. [fistbump from a fellow addict.]

[She snorts.]

Sure. Roll perception/awareness to notice whether you're getting stalked by something that wants to eat your face. Add five to your roll because you already know the answer is probably yes.

Yeah, see, my bad guys want to kill me, but at least they don't want to eat me afterwards. Usually. Or I guess the eating could come first, if you're really unlucky.

So which one are you? Vampire? Wizard? Face-eating goblin? Who am I supposed to be rooting for in the Merlin versus Dracula celebrity deathmatch?

Usually the one leads to the other. [grin] But I don't eat faces. [She pauses.] Well, I mean, I'm not a vegetarian, so I guess I eat things with faces, but not people.

I'm a wizard. [Was she still technically? That was probably debatable, but she didn't really feel like getting into the messy details right now, and it wasn't really relevant anyway.] The Reds didn't really come out of the war, so there aren't many of them left now.

Oh, good. That's a relief. I mean, I've made friends with some pretty sketchy people, but a face-eating goblin would be new territory.

'Wizard' is pretty out there, too, but at least I know I picked someone who's already come out on top in an epic supernatural showdown. Never hurts to be friends with winners. Go team.
